'47 (Forty-Seven) is a casual lifestyle brand that started in Boston, USA, in 1947. It began when Italian immigrant twins Arthur and Henry DiAngelo founded Twin Enterprises, the predecessor of '47, selling pennants and sports memorabilia near Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox.
The business then expanded to manufacturing and selling headwear and apparel that blend sports and fashion. Currently, it partners with over 650 universities and the four major professional sports leagues in the U.S.: MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL.

The story begins with Arthur and Henry, twin boys who moved from Italy to America. The first English words they learned were "two cents," the price of the newspapers they sold to earn a living near Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox.
In 1947, the two began selling baseball merchandise like pennants, which were not yet widely popular at the time, and it thrilled many baseball fans. The era name was abbreviated to "'47." The business of "'47" started from here.

Since Arthur and Henry, then 12 years old, moved to America in 1938, they have spent their lives at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Arthur's sons also worked there, making the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Park a special team and place for the family.
In 2018, Arthur was honored with a spot in the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame for his contributions.
The photo of the 47 founders, with Arthur surrounded by his sons, embodies the family bond. The result of the entire family's passion for work has led to the current 47, which will continue to grow.
Valuing family and pure human relationships, 47 has earned the trust of fans and evolved into a brand that blends sports with lifestyle.

47 will never forget its original aspirations. Moving forward, it will continue to value the presence of "family" and advance with the "passion" inherited from the founders, Arthur and Henry.
